Not only did the Massive Earthquake and tsunami change things drastically for Japan and those who live there, it has also change the tilt of the Earth. Check out the following link. What are your thoughts?
I thought that the earthquake that happened in Japan was very powerful, but i would have never had thought that it would be powerful enough to change the earths tilt. Now Japan is wider and the earthquake shortened the length of earths day by about 1.26 microseconds, and shifted its axis by about 6.5 inches.
Now i wonder how does a earthquake and a tsunami change the earths tilt. plus how do we figure out the earths tilt. All that i wonder right now is that if this earthquake/tsunami can change the earths tilt what did it do to japan.
I don't know how you would figure that out. I dont think it would make a big difference. there are 1 million microseconds in a second so i dont think it will make a big difference
there willbe a difference because 1.26 microseconds may not be alot but if you put all those microseconds that you lost together it can make a big diference.
@sam Same! I didn't know either that an earthwquake can change the the earth's tilt! i also can't believe that the earthquake can shorted the length of the day and that japan is now wider!
I think that it is crazy how the earthquake changed the earths tilt. i hope all the people in Japan are doing alright. Didnt the earthquake also make Japan bigger? Well it was a 9.0 earthquake probably one of the biggest they have had.
Another huge earthquake was in 1960 in Chile and the scientist said it should have shortened the length of the day by 8 microseconds.
@ Sam Savard i also didnt thionk that it would be that powerful to change the Earth. Another earthquake in Chile in the 1960's also shortenedd the Earths day legth by 8 micro seconds.
dang, thats like an earthquake party, big enugh to mess up everything. mabey we should fall back 1.26 microseconds and move everything 6.5 inches to the side.
Courtney and Taylor Humphries Wow thats amazing something that seems small compared to the power of the Earth could actually change the tilt of such a seemingly large planet(at least to us humans!)
Wow! Japan got wider! The earthquake was so big it changed the ration of the earth by 1.8 microseconds. The axis moved about 6.5 inches. Its amazing how something like that can change the earths tilt.
Wow! I can't imagine an earthquake doing that to our earth. It's amazing how Japan got wider and bigger from this. Also how the axis shifted by about 6.5 seconds. The days got shorter by 1.8 microseconds. They say that the quake hit the GPS (global positioning system) and made that react. Not that this was what made us shift, but still that is interesting.
I can't believe the earthquake was so bad the axis tilted A little more causing the day to shorten a teensy bit C: Also i cant believe japan is bigger now that is actually kinda funny (:
Thats crazy i would have never thought a earthquake could have that much power behind it. It shortened the length of day thats pretty powerful and shifted the axis by 6.5 inches. Its the end of the world 2012 ahhhhhhhh
A magnitude 9.0 is pretty strong.Even though that quake was pretty strong i never thought it would be strong enough to change the earths tilt.As a result of the tilt change, Japan is now wider.the earths axis was also tilted 6.5 inches.
I think it is very interesting that the days are 1.26 microseconds shorter. Although that's not much it is kind of cool. Also the axis has tilted another 6.5 in. I didn't know an earthquake could do that to the tilt. I thought it was interesting and unfortunate that some GPS systems in space or something got moved and it could affect fure landings.
Wow, I mean I can't believe it shortened the day! I know it wasn't by a lot but still that's pretty cool! Another thing I think is pretty neat is that Japan is wider now.
it could make a big difference.on occasian it akes less than that for a person to die. if a person died for every microsencond we lost, that would be a lot of dead people.
jill stange japan had an powerful earthquake it made japan wider.it shortened the day by 1.26 microseconds. it moved the earths axis by 6.5 inches and the Gps locations were moved by 13 ft,
@David If you think about it the microseconds add up, but even then it won't really make a difference years will only be 365 microseconds shorter and do it's really not a big deal.
How can an earthquake make Japen bigger? When globle warming melts the ice off greenland, all of the water will flood the ocean and further change the earths tilt. The earths time is shorter by 1.8 millianths of a second.
it's shocking that an earthquake could change the tilt of the earth, and even how long the days are. it really shows how powerful the earthquake in japan was...
i though it was really powerful,i didnt think it would change the earths tilt. how ecxacley did it change the tilt? i was thinking if i lived there i would have been scred out of my mind.
I think that it's crazy how the earthquake changed the earths tilt. The axis moved about 6.5 inches. It's amazing how something like that can change the earths tilt. (:
If this tilted our earth than does that change the timing of our seasons? Anyway, the earthquake in japan shifted the earth by 6.5 inches. This shortened our days by 1.26 microseconds
sure it isnt much difference, but think about how powerful the natural disaster that took place in japan was. its amazing how much it managed to shift the earth.
1.26 microseconds and shifted its axis by about 6.5 inches! it might not seem like a lot but still one earthquake that powerful just changed the earth's tilt!! yes brandon i wonder that to, how can one earth quake change the world's tilt! japan is now wider! Wow, this eathquake was veryy powerful!
i cant believe that 1 tsunami could have that big of an impact on all of the earth!!How would it have changed the earths tilt? i wonder .lyndsey roberto
This is really weird! you know whith it getting warm in with (yes, it is STILL winter:( ) maybe the earth tilt will have effects the seanons?
@ bekah i was wondering the same thing! excatly how did it happen? and could it happen again? i once heard that if everybody in china jumped off a chair at the same time it would throw the earth out of orbit! but i thinkthat's a big spoof :)
Who would ever think about an earthquake changing the earths tilt and time and how did they narrow it down to 1.26 microseconds when there are about 1 million microseconds in a second but if this stuff keeps happening something bad might happen
I didn't know that an earthquake had the power to change the earth's tilt. The earth shifted its axis by 6.5 inchs! thats alot.The cause of the earthquake has shortened the day by 1.26 microseconds. The way the landmass is now it affects the way it spins.
WOW!! i cant belive it is powerful enough to change the earths tilt! by 6.5 inches and thats alot if you think about it. i feel sorry for al1 the people that are suffering from this distrutive storm. all my wishies go out to them. and it shorten the earths day! wow i never new that this was that powerful i hope everything can go back to normal because this is very sad and painful for everyone for different reasons. --Sydney Polking--
9.0 earthquake in Japan shook the earth's axis and tilted it. So now the earth's days are shorter. This changed the rotation of the earth, the days ae shorter by 1.8 millionth of a second. Melting glaciers and water sloshing everywhere also affects the rotation of the earth. Earth wobbles on axis as it rotates. The axis moved by about 6 and a half inches.
I new that the earthquake that happened in Japan was very powerful, but i would have never had thought that it would be powerful enough to change the earths tilt. The earth moved 6.5 inches, Japan is now wider. And the earthquake shortened the length of the day by 1.26 microsecends.
Wow the earthquak moved the earths tilt! That just shows how bad the planet earth can ben and what could happen. If globlewarming keeps up then the glacers will melt and the earths axes and tilt will be very mest up. I cant wait untill there is a 10 earthquak then things will get mested up!
@Sydney Polking Ohh i know right i think its crazy that an earthquake was so powerful that it could move 6 and a half inches i just think its so interesting, crazy and kind of scary,!!!!! ~Alana GUlley~
this earthquake was very dangerous and powerful but i didnt know that it was powerful enough to tilt the earth. it has shortened earths day by 1.26 microseconds and the axis has been shifted by 6.5 inches.
i knew the earhtquake in japan was very strong but i didnt know it was that bad to where it could change the earths tilt, does that put us in danger? it shifted our axis by 6.5 inches and if we have a worse earthquake im sure it could really change the axis alot.

monni szary I thought that the earthquake that happened in Japan was very powerful, but i would have never had thought that it would be powerful enough to change the earths tilt.
That's amazing how an earthquake can alter the tilt of the earth. What I don't get though is how the earthquake can effect the tilt of the earth but we didn't even feel it slightly.
That is amazing how the earthquake could change the length of the days. I never knew that that earthquake was that powerful.It changed the land masses and how the earth spins too.
It is scary to know that we live on an Earth that's land can be as violent as this. It was so strong it shortened our days and spread Japan which is a fairly large landmass apart. That is scary.
Wow, i cant believe that could actually happen....I knew the earthquake in Japan was big but not big enough to knock the entire earths tilt off course. I wonder if over time, if many more darastic earthquakes occur, the Earths tilt could dramtically change.
Thats cazy! I knew that it was powerful but not that powerful to change the earths tilt! And it changed Japan, Japan is wider. The earthquake even shortened the days,,,,
Brandon is correct. simple change in microseconds can make a big differnce. over the years if you add all of those microseconds up you get quite alot more time in the history of earth. i truly hope this does not affect climates. what are your thoughts?
i cant belive it is powerful enough to change the earths tilt! by 6.5 inches and thats alot if you think about it. i feel sorry for al1 the people that are suffering from this distrutive storm. all my wishies go out to them. and it shorten the earths day! wow i never new that this was that powerful i hope everything can go back to normal because this is very sad and painful for everyone for different reasons.
monni szary I thought that the earthquake that happened in Japan was very powerful, but i would have never had thought that it would be powerful enough to change the earths tilt.
I think that the things that are happing in Japan are bad because of the massive earth1quake chaing the rotion of the earth axis. Japan did not do eney thing to get this magiar earthquate.
I knew that the earthquake in Japan was strong,but i didnt think that it would effect the earths tilt. I hope that the 6.5 inches that the axis was shifted doesnt effect the climate.
I think its surprising how the earth has tilt how a earthquake tilt the earth. but i dont think i matters because that is only a tiny tiny bit of time.
Wow! I can not believe that one earthquake could actually change the tilt of the earth. Still I anm glad that the earth was not totally throne off. My thoughts and prairs are still with Japan.
@Sanzere,Anna I agree with you. How does one earthquake change erth's tilt. And how does it change the time buy 1.26 mikeroseconds? Is there anyway to look that up?
I think that this is a very sad thing and scary also for the earths tilt to be moved its very freaky to me. that thing was just very strong/powerful since it moved the earths tilt by like 1.23 something seconds. Thats what i heard fro on the news.
Who would ever think about an earthquake changing the earths tilt and time and how did they narrow it down to 1.26 microseconds when there are about 1 million microseconds in a second but if this stuff keeps happening something bad might happen.... Anthony,Erb
@sam savard same here i woiuldnt of thought that just a earthquake and a tsunami would change the earths tilt. it sounds kinda scary and odd at the same time.
I didn't think it was possible that an earthquake could do that! I hope it doesn't effect us too much. 1.26 microseconds isn't a lot, but still......I wonder if anything else changed that we dont know about.
I thought that the earthquake was very powerful and di alot of damage to japan. I didnt think it could be this powerful to tilt the earth. I wonder how a earthquake and a tsunami can just tilt the earth. What could this possibly do to japan.
I thought the earthquake was very powerful but i didnt know it could be that powerful i didnt even know that earthquakes could get that powerful that is scary.
I think that it is very sad about what happened down their. I think that the earths tilt moving that now we almost have 1.235 M seconds shorter for our days worth. Pete G
I never know the earthquake could change the earths tilt. The earhtquake shortened the lendth of the earth by 1.26 microseconds and shifted its axis by about 6.5 inches.
what is a microsecond is it like half of a half of a second or something that stuff is very hard to follow. so like are we still going to have new years on december 31
i knew the earthquake was powerful but i didnt know that an earthquake could effect of the earths tilt. japan is now wider and shortened the earths day about 1.26 microseconds. i cant believe it shifted the axis by 6.5
Wow I knew the earthquake and tsunami were large, but to move the Earth's tilt by 6.5 inches and make the day longer by 1,26 microseconds nust be unbelievaly large. I wonder how scienctists figure this out?
Woah... i never knew an earthquake could change the earths tilt! I cant beleive that the day go shorter by 1.26 microseconds, Adn Moved the tilt about 6.5 inches! I wonder how much the earths tilt will move by the time i die just by Earthquakes!
@Natalie Yeah I agree. Just because the length of the day changed by 1.26 doesn't mean its nothing. thats already 459 microseconds a year, plus this could be the first of many.
I think that is ridicuously crazy how an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9 can change the earths tilt. It even changed the legnth of japan and made the days longer. If i lived in japan i know it would tke me a little while to get used to the changes that have just taken place. Its amazing how much can happen in such short time.
@reddington i heard on the news that people are starting to plan world ending parties for 2012! i dont know if the world is going to end or not, and honestly no one does! i just cant believe people are already planning there party for their "death". But i do wonder, since all these series of unfortunate events are happening, if the world will end.
@ David Reddington I think it would be really hard to find how the earth axis tilted but that just seems very odd i think it would be really hard to fiugre out.
Well if you add up all the microseconds that could be lost from disasters like this it could make a large difference. The tilt would also be largley effected. Hopefully we don't have more disasters like this one...
@samantha savard. I aagree if mrs.hoffman would have never made this a blog i dont think that i would have known this because i would have never guessed.
I never thought that the earthquake could change THAT much! Shorter days, 1.26 microseconds,(Whoo hoo, cant even notice it) and axis changed by 6.5 inches. I wonder how they found this out, did they really look THAT closely? Anyways Japan is wider now. Yay for them?
I also wonder how much the earth's axis will move in the next, say 50 years. 1 foot? I wonder if it's axis will even get so screwed up that it will be "upside-down". It'll be millions/billions of years, though.
@David, Reddington 2012 is NOT going to happen, it's been proven. In fact the Mayan calendar ended in 2008. I hate it when people make doomsday theories making things up that have been proven wrong.
@ Abby Rembole I couldnt imagen that liveing in japan right now that would be hard to do and there are some amerizing stories comeing from there right now so hopoefuly they get better very soon poor japan.
@ Bridget yeah i wonder the same thing like how could japan get wider i think it just moved thats all nothing to much but that stuff happends everyday all the time.
@Cirkovic Daniel I never thought about it like that. In about 1000+ years we would've lost 1 whole second! XD But yeah if you put that in perspective then wow. It takes a LONG time, but it works.
@Gaddis, Breana I am honestly not surpised people are planning parties for the day that they presume they'll die. I bet a lot of people are going to do things they'll regret on that day. You figure if you think it's your last day on earth then you'll do everything you ever wanted, and that includes deep dark secrets. So yeah, knowing people out there in the world they'll do things they'll regret. Also Mayans were high when making their predictions, it was on History Channel.
I watched some videos about the desrtuction and the tsunami that happened in Japan but I didn't know that it would be powerful enough to change the tilt of the earth! I also read that days have been shortend by 1.26 microseconds but who would notice?
my thoughts are that it is really said for what is happing in japan and alot of my favortie stuff is there like pokemon,nintendo,sega, and atari i also think power rangers is there also
josh parsons- Know the earths tilt is moved! I think the causes of this earthquake are going to be neverending. I think finding a change in earths time and tilt is something that could really change the earth. P.S. I seid befor whats going to happen next and what do you know,something els happended.
you know things arent looken so good for the planet right now. first a giant earthquake hits then a giant tsunami, people cant seem to get clean water, and now the earths tilt is screwed up and our days are 1.26 microseconds shorter
@kyle i didn't even think that the earths tilt could change and now that i do it makes me think... What would happen if the earths tilt was thrown off at an even greater amount of lenth
I feel interested about how the earth tilted. Japan's earthquake made the earth tilt because of how strong it was. The earthquake of Japan was 9.0 and it was the 5th largest earthquake ever since the 1900's.
The post with the name Erin that is just before this one is actually Joseph's post. His sister Erin was on computer before him and did not sign out of her Google account.

I can't believe that a earthquake can change the earth. I also can't believe that the earth moved on it's axis by 6.5 inches!
Question: Did anybody know that the earth on it's axis can move just with an earthquake?
@ brandon
Yes it is very bad for Japan and i think it might be possible for 2012 to happen this way
@ david
there willbe a difference because 1.26 microseconds may not be alot but if you put all those microseconds that you lost together it can make a big diference.

I didnt know that an earthquake and tsunami could move the earths axis enough to measure it. And i dont see much of a difference in daylight
@Anna
I can't believe it either! I wonder if it will effect us in any way in the future? Or if it will just effect the tilt and how Japan got wider.
@ brandon
i bet you $20 that is exactly what will happen in the apocolypse... only prolly not 2012 thats to soon i want my licens before i die

How does an earthquake make the entire earth move its tilt. thays what i don't understand. whats going to happen next in japan
Sarah Savard
My heart goes to japan it was the strongest earthquake in history. and i didnt think that a earthquake could make the axis of the earth
@ Abby Rembold
i know ! it would be terrible i cant even imagine..
@Deeanna
I did not know that there was another earthquake that shorened the earths days, wow did it also tilt the earths axis?

@ Schirmer,Brandon
Your right i wonder what it did
Michael twilling
I didn't know that an earthquake had the power to change the earth's tilt. The earth shifted its axis by 6.5 inchs! thats alot.The cause of the earthquake has shortened the day by 1.26 microseconds. The way the landmass is now it affects the way it spins.
This is terrible the earth changed it's axis (i lost 1.26 microseconds this is un forgiveable Why !!!!!)
Michael Twilling
@david
I agree that nothing bad will happen because that is not that much time lost
@ jennifer peters
I can't imagane it either. it would be bad.

this earthquake was very dangerous and powerful but i didnt know that it was powerful enough to tilt the earth. it has shortened earths day by 1.26 microseconds and the axis has been shifted by 6.5 inches.
Alec Uhlhorn
i knew the earhtquake in japan was very strong but i didnt know it was that bad to where it could change the earths tilt, does that put us in danger? it shifted our axis by 6.5 inches and if we have a worse earthquake im sure it could really change the axis alot.
@ Austin Gerdes
Really austin tilt every thing wow just wow. But it did mess up the earth alot.
@ Henry and David
i also wonder how they figured that out.i think that is very interesting.
how would someone figure out that the earth moved on its axis. i also think its interesting that japan got wider and its days are shorter
I wonder why this earthquake has effeccted the tilt of earths axis and others have not
i hope this change does not affect the climates of earth very much.
i hope all the people in Japan are doing alright. Didnt the earthquake also make Japan bigger? Well it was a 9.0 earthquake probably one of the biggest they have had.

Brandon is correct. simple change in microseconds can make a big differnce. over the years if you add all of those microseconds up you get quite alot more time in the history of earth. i truly hope this does not affect climates. what are your thoughts?
i cant belive it is powerful enough to change the earths tilt! by 6.5 inches and thats alot if you think about it. i feel sorry for al1 the people that are suffering from this distrutive storm. all my wishies go out to them. and it shorten the earths day! wow i never new that this was that powerful i hope everything can go back to normal because this is very sad and painful for everyone for different reasons.
monni szary
I thought that the earthquake that happened in Japan was very powerful, but i would have never had thought that it would be powerful enough to change the earths tilt.
Brianna Gall sent the anonymous above(:
@ Natalie
Yeah i wonder why we did'nt feel it even though it altered the tilt.
@monni
I agree with you because i never thought that the earth would tilt because of a earthquake.
@ David
I disagree, even though it is just a little bit of time that could create a chain of events that could end bad.
@sanzere anna
I never knew that within an earthquake the earth can move on its axis. Thats really cool.
I wonder why we didnt feel a thing because I was standing. I thought that the earthquake that happened in Japan was very powerful.
AUSTIn BREINEr
@ John Dinger
You are entirely right. If the happens again it could become one whole minute then before we know it it could be a whole hour.
@ John
I wonder why this earthquake effected the tilt too? and not the other ones.
Brianna Gall
@ Emily
Yeah, How would it make Japan bigger?(:
Bri Gall(:
deanna moroing-i thought the earthquake wasone of the biggest to.theearthquake was 9.0 that is a really big one.
@ savard samantha
That is so weird that japan got wider. I never knew that.
I didn't know that an earthquake could cause that. The earthquake was very big, but I had no clue that it could change the coastline by 6.5 inches.
who would ever think that an earthquake could change the earths tilt. I am very surprised of all the damage the earthquake did.
I think that the things that are happing in Japan are bad because of the massive earth1quake chaing the rotion of the earth axis.
Japan did not do eney thing to get this magiar earthquate.
@ Natalie
Isn't it weird how the earth's tilt is changed and we don'teven notice it or think it happened.
I knew that the earthquake in Japan was strong,but i didnt think that it would effect the earths tilt. I hope that the 6.5 inches that the axis was shifted doesnt effect the climate.
ANDREW reis
I think it is insane that the earth tilt because of the earth quake. I cant beleive that now the earth dys are now shorter.
Andrew reis
i agree with zach viox this world can be so voilent.
I think its surprising how the earth has tilt how a earthquake tilt the earth. but i dont think i matters because that is only a tiny tiny bit of time.
@ samantha
I would of never thought that the earthquake would have affected the tilt of the axis!
Ithought the haiti earth quake changed the earth's tilt as well. I thought it was interesting that japan is now wider.
myt houghts are...
omg i didnt even know the earth's tilt could be changed
Wow! I can not believe that one earthquake could actually change the tilt of the earth. Still I anm glad that the earth was not totally throne off. My thoughts and prairs are still with Japan.
@Sanzere,Anna
I agree with you.
Anthony,Erb
I thought that the earthquake that happened in Japan was very powerful, but i would have never had thought that it would be powerful enough to change the earths tilt. Now Japan is wider and the earthquake shortened the length of earths day by about 1.26 microseconds, and shifted its axis by about 6.5 inches.
@sam savard
same here i woiuldnt of thought that just a earthquake and a tsunami would change the earths tilt. it sounds kinda scary and odd at the same time.
@ Calderon, Heidi
i also think that this is a very sad thing and scary also for the earths tilt to be moved its very freaky to me too.
I thought the earthquake was very powerful but i didnt know it could be that powerful i didnt even know that earthquakes could get that powerful that is scary.
@ anna
Wow i didnt know that the earth moved on its axis by 6.5 inches.
now i wonder how does earthquakes change the earths tilt. How do you know the earth's tilt is out of place.
I think that it is very sad about what happened down their.
I think that the earths tilt moving that now we almost have 1.235 M seconds shorter for our days worth.
Pete G
I never know the earthquake could change the earths tilt. The earhtquake shortened the lendth of the earth by 1.26 microseconds and shifted its axis by about 6.5 inches.
what is a microsecond is it like half of a half of a second or something that stuff is very hard to follow. so like are we still going to have new years on december 31
i knew the earthquake was powerful but i didnt know that an earthquake could effect of the earths tilt. japan is now wider and shortened the earths day about 1.26 microseconds. i cant believe it shifted the axis by 6.5
@anna
nice comment about the earth tilt is out of place.
Wow I knew the earthquake and tsunami were large, but to move the Earth's tilt by 6.5 inches and make the day longer by 1,26 microseconds nust be unbelievaly large. I wonder how scienctists figure this out?
@Brandon
yes that is what i wonder to about how could a earthquake and a tsunami could change the earths tilt.
Peter Georgantonis
Woah... i never knew an earthquake could change the earths tilt! I cant beleive that the day go shorter by 1.26 microseconds, Adn Moved the tilt about 6.5 inches! I wonder how much the earths tilt will move by the time i die just by Earthquakes!
@Natalie
Yeah I agree. Just because the length of the day changed by 1.26 doesn't mean its nothing. thats already 459 microseconds a year, plus this could be the first of many.
@ samantha
Wow i never knew the earthquake that happen in japan could change the tilt of the earth.
@ Samantha Savard
Yeah i agree! I knew it was powerful but who knew it could change the tilt!
@reddington
i heard on the news that people are starting to plan world ending parties for 2012! i dont know if the world is going to end or not, and honestly no one does! i just cant believe people are already planning there party for their "death". But i do wonder, since all these series of unfortunate events are happening, if the world will end.
@ David Reddington
I think it would be really hard to find how the earth axis tilted but that just seems very odd i think it would be really hard to fiugre out.
@ ReddigtonDavid
Well if you add up all the microseconds that could be lost from disasters like this it could make a large difference. The tilt would also be largley effected. Hopefully we don't have more disasters like this one...
@samantha savard.
@David, Reddington
2012 is NOT going to happen, it's been proven. In fact the Mayan calendar ended in 2008. I hate it when people make doomsday theories making things up that have been proven wrong.
@ Abby Rembole
I couldnt imagen that liveing in japan right now that would be hard to do and there are some amerizing stories comeing from there right now so hopoefuly they get better very soon poor japan.
@ Bridget
yeah i wonder the same thing like how could japan get wider i think it just moved thats all nothing to much but that stuff happends everyday all the time.
@Cirkovic Daniel
I never thought about it like that. In about 1000+ years we would've lost 1 whole second! XD
But yeah if you put that in perspective then wow. It takes a LONG time, but it works.
@Gaddis, Breana
I am honestly not surpised people are planning parties for the day that they presume they'll die.
@ david reddington
I agree. I know it is kind of a fun fact but who would notice a 1.26 microsecond difference.
my thoughts are that it is really said for what is happing in japan and alot of my favortie stuff is there like pokemon,nintendo,sega, and atari i also think power rangers is there also
josh parsons- Know the earths tilt is moved!
@Alyssa
I didn't know that the earth's tilt changed ether until I listened to the article. But did you know that it changed it by about 6.5 inches.
@kyle
i didn't even think that the earths tilt could change and now that i do it makes me think... What would happen if the earths tilt was thrown off at an even greater amount of lenth
@bridget
what if the earth had its tilt changed so much that night here would be day here
@bridget
i know now that it had changed by 6.5. to me that seems like a lot. but then again any change in the earths tilt seems like a lot to me!!
