How would you feel about going to space knowing you would be putting your body at risk to these numerous factors? Would these factors hinder you from going to space? Would you be concerned about losing bone density or having your fingernails removed?

No fingernails? That's a little extreme. Even so, I'd still go into space. Though the loss of bone density is a little discouraging.
I would not like going into space because i tend to get very car sick and i think going into space is way to much. Also the loss of bone density is a little scary for me and i would not enjoy having no fingernails.

I wouldnt let a little car sickness get in the way of orbitting the Earth. After all, youronly really flying for 3 minutes, then your wieghtless. Just pack a few doggy bags.
I would not go to space in fear that I would loose bone density and my fingernails. All those things would persuade me not to go!

The only reason I wouldn't want to go to space is because I'm putting my body at risk! I think my health is more important than seeing the earth from space! I wouldn't be to concerned about losing bone density, because I can just regain it with excirse, but losing my fingernails... it would stink, but they grow back.

Yep. You think thats fast, the Earth hurtles throu space at like, 30,000 mph, makin it really hard to get a shuttle back in the atmosphere at the right placqs.

I dont care if I lose 50% of my bone density! I would pack my bags the SECOND the Nasa acadamy admits me. Its a once in a lifetime chance! Would you pass that up.

once there was an astronaught in orbit for i don't know how long, but it must have been months, because when we was welcomed back to earth while waving to a crowd, he broke his hand because now his bones lost their density.
i would hate to go into space because to lose bones would be kinda freaky
i wouldn't go into space if i was going to lose some bone density and my finger nails that just sounds like it would hurt.

how could you not want to travel space? fingernails grow back. you only lose a lot of bone density if you stay up there more than a few months. it would be amazing to travel up there collecting scientific research and seeing sites not many humans have ever seen!
i would not go in to space first of all because i wouldnt want to take the chances ofr loseingn my finger nails! One more reason is that i hate heights and being that heigt might make me puck that could be a saftey vialation as well ! so i wouldnt want to go into space!for sure yes it would be interesting to see the earth for space but i wouldnt like to take the chances ,thank you lyndz roberto

Having to lose your bone dencity sounds scary. If your up in space for like a year and you loss bone dencit. will you be able to walk or anything that just is weird.
Wow, that must be really hard to tain for that. I wonder what that would be like to lose bone density. You would have to be in really good shape to go up into space. And what about the fingernails? I wonder what that would be like and I wonder how that happens?

I would never want to go into space. That is for a few reason. For one those losses right there. No fingernails sounds uncomfortable and just weird. Though they do grow back. Then the bone density is a big no. Also my reasons that I knew before this is one, I HATE heights-though I do love roller coasters-. Then I have a fear of drifting off in space. Then there is the fact that you have to land in water when coming back into the atmosphere and all that. Its just scary for me.

I completely forgot about Planet X I remember hearing about it a while back! Think that the name is a bit wierd? It sounds like something from a cartoon, that or a cheesy story. Also I still say Pluto is a planet, though they say it isn't.

I think that it would be really cool to go into space but overall I would not want to. Space is so different from earth that I would be too scared especially with the fact that I could lose my finger nails and bone density. Going into space is a lot tougher than it seems. But it would be so fun to be in weightlessness!

Haha! Your right. I would put my health first instead of going into space. I would think I would be ok to lose my fingernails, but losing bone density is where I would draw the line. It seems like that would effect you a lot later in your life.

It would kinda suck to not have fingernails... the bone density thing would stink to... i can't imagine having to get your fingernails remove. OUCH! my dog bit my stepmom (:P) and bit her fingernail off, There was blood Everywhere!!!! it was soo gross!!!
