It was scheduled to launch may 8. If they dont they would have to lauch it may 10. If they launch may 9 it could result in the shuttle undocking from the International Space Station on May 23, the same day a Russian Soyuz crew ferry craft is scheduled to depart.
It was postponed because to make a launch at 12:09 p.m. on Sunday, NASA would have to start a fresh three-day countdown around 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Whether the team can complete the ALCA-2 swap-out and re-test in time remains to be seen.

We both would kinda want to go but we are not sure because of the sacrifices like; no fingernails, and the bone denisty would be messed with! We would both want to be a part of NASA because that is the closest we could get to space without going to space. We both would want to take samples of the moon, take the back to Earth and feel what feels like. We think that it is the Atlantis. And our thoghts about the space program are; that its amazing that we are going to do even more exploring in the vast space, and maybe solve more of the mysteries of space! And we are disappointed that NASA is only doing one more launch after this one.
